Participation of a lecturer at the University of Basra as a lecturer in the training course held by the Basra Governorate Municipality

Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul-Kadhim Nasser Saleh, a lecturer in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, delivered a lecture at the four-day training course held by the Basra Municipality for its employees at its headquarters in the Basra Governorate Center. The lecture included an explanation of the principles of garden design and engineering, garden types, and the most important trees, shrubs, and herbaceous flowers grown in gardens suitable for the conditions of Basra Governorate. The seminar recommended planting trees, shrubs, and annual plants that are resistant to the conditions of the southern region, particularly those of Basra Governorate, and the need to follow appropriate design standards for public and private gardens.
