My dear students of the College of Agriculture,
Peace be upon you and God’s mercy and blessings.

It is my pleasure to welcome you at the beginning of the new academic year 2025-2026, and to congratulate you on your return to the college’s classrooms, laboratories, and fields, which will witness your dedicated steps towards knowledge and learning. The College of Agriculture has always been, and continues to be, a beacon of academic excellence, contributing to the development of qualified cadres capable of serving society and contributing to food security and agricultural development in our beloved Iraq.

My dear students, your studies here are not merely about attending classes and taking exams; rather, they represent an academic and humanitarian mission related to life, the environment, and food. You are the messengers of knowledge in the field of agriculture, and through your efforts and perseverance, projects are built, research advances, and achievements are attained. I advise you to maintain a spirit of cooperation and diligence, to benefit from the expertise of your professors, and to utilize all the resources the college offers, including laboratories and field facilities, to develop your practical and scientific skills.

I also extend my sincere thanks to my colleagues, the faculty members and staff, for their great efforts in preparing a suitable environment to welcome our dear students. I pray to God that this year will be a year of blessings and success, and that He may protect our beloved Iraq and our esteemed university from all harm.
