The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a workshop titled "Mechanism for Implementing the Electronic System for Academic Promotions," attended by the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Sarmed Ghazi Muhammad Al-Shawi.
The workshop, which was attended by the Chairman of the Central Promotions Committee, Professor Dr. Basil Abdul Zahra Abbas, and the Director of the Central Promotions Division and Chairman of the Academic Promotions Committee at the College of Agriculture, aimed to clarify the steps for applying for promotions electronically, introduce new updates to the instructions, and facilitate procedures to ensure transparency and accuracy.
The workshop included a practical explanation of the system, a review of the required forms, and research evaluation criteria.
Participants recommended holding periodic training workshops, forming a technical support committee, and providing a guide to facilitate the use of the platform.
