The University of Basra organizes a seminar on the effects of foliar feeding with Prosol.

The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a seminar on the effects of foliar feeding with Prosol and ground application of humic acid on the growth and flowering of chrysanthemums.

The seminar, delivered by researcher Zahraa Kamel Badi, aimed to study the vital role of foliar fertilizers and organic enhancers in improving the growth and flowering efficiency of chrysanthemums, an important medicinal plant whose flowers are used to treat oral infections, intestinal ulcers, and skin diseases such as eczema and psoriasis.

The seminar included a presentation of the scientific methodology and statistical analysis used to study key plant traits, such as plant height, leaf area, flower number, flower diameter, and flower stalk characteristics.

The results showed that combining foliar feeding with Prosol and ground application of humic acid achieved the best and strongest positive plant response, enhancing flower quality and chrysanthemum growth beyond other treatments and comparisons.
