Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Sarmed Ghazi Muhammad Al-Shawi, and in the presence of the esteemed Assistant Dean of Science, Professor Dr. Sadiq Jabbar Mohsen, and the College Council, the handover ceremony for the position of Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs took place this morning between Assistant Professor Dr. Rashad Adel Omran and Assistant Professor Dr. Wael Ali Sawadi. This ceremony followed the issuance of a university order assigning Dr. Wael to the duties of Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, succeeding Dr. Rashad, who made distinguished efforts in developing administrative work and organizing the college's various departments during his tenure.

The ceremony also honored the former Head of the Department of Food Sciences and Prevention, Assistant Professor Dr. Wael Ali Sawadi and Assistant Professor Dr. Aqeel Adnan Abdul Sayed, in recognition of their academic and administrative efforts during their tenure as Head of the Department, and their outstanding contributions to the academic and research process.

In the same context, Assistant Professor Dr. Sinan Judeh Abdul Abbas was appointed Head of the Department of Food Sciences. We wish him success in his duties, which will contribute to enhancing the department's academic and administrative performance.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Dean expressed his thanks and gratitude to all the professors for their great efforts in serving the college and the university, wishing them continued success in their academic and administrative careers.
