Female faculty members from the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra are participating in the 10th National Conference on Environmental Sciences and Natural Resources.

Two faculty members, Assistant Professor Dr. Rawafed Hadi Qasim and Lecturer Dr. Fatima Ali Jamel, from the College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah, participated in the 10th National Conference on Environmental Sciences and Natural Resources, organized by the Department of Environment at the College of Science, University of Basrah.

Their participation included presenting and publishing their research paper titled:

"Investigating the effect of foliar spraying with potassium and iron on growth and nutrient uptake in cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.)"

The research aimed to study the response of cowpea crops to foliar spraying with different concentrations of potassium and iron, and to identify their effects on plant growth and nutrient uptake efficiency, thereby contributing to improved crop productivity and quality.

This participation reflects the College of Agriculture's commitment to supporting scientific research and actively participating in scientific conferences that contribute to the development of the agricultural sector and promote the use of modern technologies in natural resource management.
