The Central Promotions Committee at the University of Basra held its periodic meeting at the College of Agriculture.

The meeting began with a welcome address by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed, who expressed his pleasure at the College hosting the meeting and affirmed his support for the Committee's work in academic promotions at both the university and college levels. He wished the Committee success in its endeavors.

The meeting then continued with the Chairman of the Central Promotions Committee presenting the latest updates and directives from the Ministry and the University Presidency. During the meeting, a number of academic promotions across various academic ranks, submitted by the university's colleges, were discussed.
