University of Basra organizes a scientific workshop on "From Farm to Table: Advanced Poultry Feeding Strategies and Advanced Feed Manufacturing Techniques"

The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a scientific workshop on "From Farm to Fork: Advanced Poultry Feeding Strategies and Advanced Feed Manufacturing Technologies."

The workshop, presented by Dr. Rabia Jadou Abbas, aimed to highlight the latest technologies in feed manufacturing and poultry nutrition.

The workshop covered topics such as adopting antibiotic-free production systems to ensure food safety, employing nanotechnology and genetic engineering to improve the nutritional value of feed, and using modern manufacturing techniques to reduce environmental pollution and lower production costs.

The workshop recommended the necessity of transitioning towards sustainable production, adopting alternative natural additives, and integrating advanced technologies into the poultry industry to achieve higher production efficiency and greater health safety.
