The Dean of the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi, participated in the periodic meeting of the Board of Directors of the Dar Al-Kutub Printing and Publishing Directorate, held on Sunday morning, December 28, 2025.

The meeting was chaired by the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim Al-Asadi, and attended by the members of the Board, to discuss the current state of the Directorate's work and ways to enhance its scientific and cultural services.

The Dean's participation in this meeting underscores the importance of integration between the university's colleges and vital centers such as Dar Al-Kutub, particularly regarding the printing of scientific curricula and specialized agricultural research. He offered several observations aimed at strengthening the Directorate's role in supporting the educational process.
