The College of Agriculture organizes a scientific field trip to the fish landing station in Al-Faw for postgraduate students.

In an effort to enhance the practical application of postgraduate studies and connect academic research with real-world applications, the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra conducted a specialized field trip to the fish landing station in the Al-Nak'ah area of ​​Al-Faw district. The trip included a select group of faculty members and doctoral students from the college.

The field trip, led by Dr. Atheer Hussein Ali and Dr. Thamer Qate' Adai, with active participation from doctoral students, focused on developing skills in directly handling laboratory samples in their natural environment.

The supervising team emphasized that this trip aimed to strengthen the analytical capabilities of doctoral students and enable them to diagnose the environmental and health problems facing fish stocks in Basra Governorate. They commended the cooperation shown by the relevant authorities at the fish landing station in facilitating the research team's work.
