A lecturer at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra participates in the discussion of a master's thesis at the College of Agriculture and Marshlands at the University of Dhi Qar.

Assistant Professor Dr. Wrood Hantoush Ne'ma, from the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Unit at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, participated in the discussion committee for researcher Aya Awda Hassan, from the College of Agriculture and Marshlands at the University of Dhi Qar, who presented a thesis entitled "The Effect of Seaweeds and Amino Acids on Aloe Vera Growth and Its Medicinally Active Compounds."

The study concluded that seaweeds and amino acids played a clear role in increasing the vegetative growth of aloe vera and the leaf content of mineral elements and medicinally active compounds such as aloin, aloe amodin, and cinnamic acid.
