In a spirit of cooperation among the colleges of the University of Basra, the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra implemented a large-scale volunteer campaign to plant seedlings and trees, targeting the gardens and green spaces of the College of Engineering.

The campaign witnessed active field participation from the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs of the College of Agriculture, Dr. Wael Ali Sawadi, along with a number of staff members and a group of student volunteers who contributed their efforts to the success of this environmental initiative.

The campaign was carried out in direct cooperation with the College of Agriculture's nursery, which supplied the initiative with a diverse range of seedlings and plants suitable for the local environment. This ensured the sustainability of the vegetation cover and beautified the pathways and gardens of the College of Engineering, thus enhancing the aesthetic and environmental health of the university grounds.

The campaign concluded with praise from the administration of the College of Engineering, who commended the College of Agriculture for its role in supporting green spaces and providing ongoing technical and agricultural support.
