The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra participated in the second International Expo Shiraz 2026, held in Shiraz, Iran, from October 11 to 16, 2026, with an academic delegation comprising Dr. Majid Hassan Al-Asadi and Professor Dr. Ali Khudair Al-Rikabi, both advisors from the college.

This participation comes within the framework of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation, exchanging expertise, and learning about the latest technologies and developments in the agricultural sector. This contributes to supporting scientific research, developing academic capabilities, opening new avenues for partnership between scientific institutions, and enhancing efforts toward sustainable agricultural development.
