The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organizes the "Martyrdom Festival" on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah

The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a memorial festival entitled "The Festival of Martyrdom" to commemorate the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi, his deputies for academic and administrative affairs, as well as a number of faculty members, staff, and students.

The festival began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah in remembrance of the martyrs, and the playing of the Iraqi national anthem.

The festival included several commemorative activities, including speeches and poems presented by faculty and students. These reflections addressed the significance of the occasion and explored the meanings of sacrifice and martyrdom, highlighting their profound implications and values.

The festival, held under the banner of "The Festival of Martyrdom," emphasized the importance of remembering the martyrs and honoring their memory. The events concluded with an emphasis on the importance of drawing lessons and values ​​from their sacrifices and carrying their enduring message forward in the face of challenges.
