The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a workshop entitled "Developing Academic Program and Course Descriptions for Both Tracks."

The workshop aimed to clarify the principles and standards for developing academic program and course descriptions, focusing on formulating learning outcomes, assessment and evaluation mechanisms, and aligning curricula with quality assurance and accreditation requirements.

Professor Dr. Riyad Adnan Armila delivered a lecture during the workshop, highlighting the importance of developing educational programs that meet the needs of the job market, and emphasizing the importance of adhering to quality standards and academic accreditation requirements.

The workshop recommended adopting clear mechanisms for program description, involving academic departments, and promoting the use of modern assessment tools to ensure the quality of higher education.
